Went to the car restoration show at the NEC.

Have to say I was a little disappointed. It was the Sunday and it was quiet. However there were fewer halls and not a lot that interested me.

Unusually this was a good game, Derby played really well but we only beat Birmingham 1:0.

So nice to enjoy the actual football….

Helping my son move house. An enjoyable time, he had organised it really well, everything went to plan except the removal people needed an extra van. Even that only delayed things 90 mins.

I was really impressed the previous owner had really looked after the house. There wasn’t even marks around where the pictures were.
lovely, it didn’t need decorating, except the kids wanted purple and yellow walls, that grandad duly did.

Grandson sitting quietly in church.

Pictures can be deceptive. He did sit quietly in church for about 5 minutes, before returning to the toys in the crèche at the back. Look on it as progress for a 3 year old….

Need to replace a light on my MGB. £20 each.

Friend needed a replacement running light for a Jaguar I-pace. Full list price £1200… ouch.

Makes me glad I still drive my old cars.

The afternoon off to a play centre in Ashbourne. They seem to have more hair than me.

Great news, a new addition to the Sankey family. Mother and son well. Only two days old, awaiting a name……
